For some reason many have looked at the WalMart chain of stores and businesses as a family oriented establishment. Is it true?
Well, if you mean by providing many things that families need, then, yes. If you mean that the stores had their start because a man by the name of Sam Walton, passed the business on to family, then, yes it is a family business. If on the other hand, you mean a family business because it endorses the true family model, then NO! It does not.
Now, to the matter, and reason for which I write this. It came to may attention on Thursday evening August 31, 2006 that WalMart has taken the “price of a dog” into their house. I am not talking of the animal many families have for pets. I am talking the Biblical dog. In Deuteronomy 23:18 God says, “Thou shalt not bring the price of a harlot or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow…” What is this “dog” which we read of? A male/homosexual prostitute.
They have catered to and joined the “Gay and lesbian Chamber of Commerce”. They have many other problems, now they just became greater problems. I know the above verse from Deuteronomy speaks of the “House of the Lord”, and WalMart is far from being that in the first place, but when they endeavor to cater to families, family is God’s. There can be no justification for this act of rebellion against God and the American and world wide family.
Dogs, the real animal, created to be an animal, who many have as family pets, at least know their gender, and purpose in reproduction. That is more than you can say for homosexuals. WalMart is helping promote the vile, wicked, depraved “lifestyle?”. It is not a lifestyle it is an abomination to God. I is not a matter of birth. It is the matter of a depraved mind.
I pray that WalMart will change their corporate minds. Is it Business Wise to accommodate 1-2 percent of our population and offend the largest percentage of their customers? It does not sound like good Business sense to me.
I pray also, that we can and will as Christians, continue to love those who are bound in the sin of homosexuality, show them the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and pray, pray, pray that many will be delivered from depravity.
It could be that the reason WalMart executives are making this move is because of the noise so few are making, and they are believing that it is a large number. They need to know the facts. They are being deceived.
Anyone reading this who maybe bound by this sine - You can be free. You can be clean. You can be saved and pure, forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ.
